Manchester United news, exclusives and analysis

The Spanish giants and the Premier League trio are all keen on signing the 19-year-old, who already has 17 caps for England and is considered one of the best midfielders in Europe.

United and Liverpoolwere thought to have the best chance of signing him while City also believed they were in pole position to bring Bellingham to the Premier League.

He was named VDV Bundesliga Newcomer of the Season for 2020-21 and was included in the VDV Bundesliga Team of the Season for 2021-22.

Jamie Carragher has already warned there will be an ‘auction’ for Bellingham next summer, despite the fact that he is under contract until 2025.
