New Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has shown his ruthlessness already by making a swift decision on a problem that plagued former Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Dutchman takes the helm at Old Trafford with the club expected to undergo a major squad overhaul in the summer transfer window. While plenty of new arrivals are expected, several players are also expected to depart and Ten Hag has already made a decision on the future of Dean Henderson despite previous hopes he would be able to displace David de Gea as the club's first-choice stopper.

It comes as Ten Hag's Frenkie de Jong plan has been revealed – and it may just play to Donny van de Beek's strengths. And United have been told to pay Vitinha's release clause or forget about signing the FC Porto midfielder this summer.
