Erik ten Hag has been announced as the man Manchester United want to oversee their revival – and the club is set for huge changes this summer.

United's starting line-up could be rather different with the club set to be busy in the summer transfer window. A new defender, midfielder, winger and striker could well arrive to make the United starting XI have a different look about it, with Ten Hag set to be handed a £200million transfer kitty to spend.

Donny van de Beek has reacted to the news that Erik ten Hag is set to become the next manager of Manchester United.

The Ajax boss' imminent arrival at Old Trafford was announced by the club on Thursday meaning he is set to be reunited with Van de Beek, whom he reached the Champions League semi-finals with in 2019. Ten Hag previously called United's treatment of Van de Beek a ‘mortal sin’, with the midfielder's struggles for game time at Old Trafford seeing him join Everton on loan until the end of the season.
