Man Utd: Major Cristiano Ronaldo update emerges before Leicester

Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo is believed to be the coach to Leicester, according to Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge.

Ronaldo’s Red Devils future has been in doubt all summer, but Bridge reckons that speculation should end with Ronaldo now likely to feature at the King Power Stadium tonight.

It’s been a summer to forget for the 37-year-old, who expressed his desire to leave United earlier this window following their failure to qualify for the Champions League.

But Ronaldo isn’t likely to get his wish despite intense interest from across Europe, including the likes of Chelsea, Napoli and former club Sporting CP.

During all of this, Ronaldo has continued to stay committed to United, featuring in all four of their Premier League games, although he’s started just once, the 4-0 defeat to Brentford last month.

United are back in action this evening and will be looking to stretch their winning run to three games when they travel to Leicester.

And Bridge reckons that Ronaldo is with the rest of his United teammates, all-but confirming that he’ll stay at Old Trafford beyond tonight’s 11pm deadline.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “There are reports that Cristiano Ronaldo is on the coach to Leicester, which should all but end speculation of him leaving on deadline day.”

With Ronaldo’s future sorted out for the time being, he’ll now want to get his head down and work his way back into Erik ten Hag’s plans.

Despite not getting his wish of playing in the Champions League, the forward still has the World Cup around the corner and will want to ensure he’s in the best shape and form for when the tournament kicks off in November.

And he’ll know that he’s got a job on his hands to win his starting place back. With United winning
