Man United wonderkid Chido Obi-Martin makes feelings clear after scoring again

Manchester United starlet Chido Obi-Martin has reacted after scoring his fourth goal of the season for the Under-18 side since joining from Arsenal over the summer. Still only 16. the Danish youth international has hit top form immediately in Manchester.

Bagging the first in a 3-0 win over Everton on Saturday, Obi-Martin once again started up front and impressed in a dominant team display. Alongside other notable names James Scanlon, Tyler Fletcher, and Amir Ibragimov, Obi-Martin showed just why United were so delighted to land him earlier this year.

Having generated serious attention following hauls of goals for the Arsenal academy - including 32 from 18 Under-18 Premier League matches last season with six hat-tricks, hitting four on two occasions, five on another, and seven in one match - he has taken no time getting used to his new surroundings. The form on the pitch has been reflected in his joy coming off it.

Posting to his Instagram story after the match, Obi-Martin added a happy face emoji to United's full-time post. Obi-Martin is pictured in the act of scoring his early goal, the No.9 shirt on his back.

He will next be hoping to add to his goals this season when United visit Stoke City next weekend. Adam Lawrence's side have continued where they left off in 2023/24, winning all nine of their matches so far, scoring 43 and conceding just four.

They were crowned Under-18 National champions last season after winning the Northern league stage. United's academy gems beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the final.
