Man United U18s vs Preston North End live updates from FA Youth Cup and Chido Obi-Martin latest
Manchester United Under-18s will be without their top scorer against Preston North End tonight.
The U18s are set to welcome Preston to Leigh Sports Village for their FA Youth Cup fourth-round tie, but will be without the in-form Gabriele Biancheri, who is set to miss a month of action.
Biancheri has undergone surgery on a minor injury and took to social media on Wednesday to post a photo from his hospital bed with his right arm in a sling, with the message 'back soon'.
The Wales youth international has 16 goals in 17 games for United's academy teams this season and struck an excellent hat-trick in the U18s third-round win against Coventry City.
Against the Sky Blues in round three, Biancheri started from the left with Chido Obo-Martin leading the line. The 17-year-old former Arsenal striker scored the other two goals in a 5-0 win.
Obi-Martin is expected become the main man in an attacking sense for the U-18s tonight.
