Man United supporters protest LIVE - Updates from 'United United' day as Glazers shown fan anger

Hello and welcome to our live coverage from 'United United day' - a joint protest against the Glazers' ownership of Manchester United.

United United Day is a tradition that dates back to 2005 and was held most recently in 2019. It is aimed at promoting a FC United of Manchester matchday to Manchester United fans when United don’t have a fixture – encouraging them to experience FC United for the first time or to return if they haven’t been for a while.

The 1958 announce they will do a sit-in protest against the Glazers and the current ownership regime against Manchester City at Old Trafford next Sunday.

A 1958 member on stage speaking about how they want to oversee change:

“If we can unify the Manchester United fan base across all
