Man United star likes post slamming Ruben Amorim's Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes opinion

Manchester United star Patrick Dorgu has liked a post on Instagram slamming Ruben Amorim's use of midfielders Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes.

It's been a mixed start to the campaign for the Red Devils, who sit 10th in the Premier League with five wins from 12 games so far. Despite big wins against the likes of Liverpool at Anfield, the latest loss against Everton at Old Trafford has taken the wind out of their sails.

One of the staples of United's tactical structure this season has been a midfield pivot of captain Fernandes and Casemiro. The pair started the 1-0 loss against the Toffees on Monday night, before the latter was substituted for Kobbie Mainoo just before the hour mark.

However, it appears the manager's use of players in the current system isn't universally accepted within the dressing room. Dorgu liked a recent post on Instagram claiming that Fernandes and Casemiro cannot and should not play alongside each other.

A post shared by the handle "mufcunion" included a screenshot taken from X which stated: "Any coach that sees Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes as a viable pivot is one that isn't serious."

The Instagram post was captioned: "Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro CANNOT play together," and was liked by Dorgu, who signed for the Manchester club from Lecce for a fee of £25m earlier this year. The wing-back has made 12 appearances across all competitions this term, registering one assist in that time.

Fernandes and Casemiro have started alongside each other in 10 of United's 13 games across all competitions so far this season. The only exceptions have been a heavily rotated side against Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup second round, as well as two league games against Brentford and Manchester City.
