Man United's next transfer 'sealed' after £34.9m agreement amid Ruben Amorim decision

Manchester United's next transfer decision may be forced to pivot to Gianluigi Donnarumma amid uncertainty over his future at Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Ruben Amorim has signed three players this window with Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Diego Leon all arriving. More business is expected to be done before the window closes with United needing a number of additions.

A new striker is the current priority at Old Trafford with Benjamin Sesko and Ollie Watkins being heavily linked with moves. There is also interest in signing a new midfielder whilst talk of a goalkeeper has rumbled on throughout the window.

The Reds are understood to have failed with a loan bid for Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez. Royal Antwerp's Senne Lammens is also under consideration but it remains to be seen which goalkeeper is entrusted to compete with Andre Onana.

However, one deal that could have a huge impact on United's thinking is PSG's move for Lucas Chevalier. It's understood that the European champions have agreed personal terms with the goalkeeper with negotiations with Lille expected.

French outlet L'Equipe have claimed that it will take at least €40million (£34.9m) for Lille to accept losing Chevalier, a fee that isn't thought to be an issue for PSG. Should a move be completed, Donnarumma's future would be at a standstill.

Contracted in Paris until next summer, there has been uncertainty over his position. The same report has claimed that United and Manchester City are in the race to sign the Italy international.
