Man United learn Viktor Gyokeres transfer 'timeline' as fresh Arsenal update emerges

Viktor Gyokeres' future remains unresolved, with Manchester United still linked to the prolific goalscorer.

The Sweden international remains linked with a move away from Sporting Clube de Portugal, with Arsenal and Juventus among the clubs vying for his signature. Unlike United, Arsenal can offer Champions League football - something that appeals to the 27-year-old.

The Manchester Evening News previously reported that, according to the Portuguese press, Gyokeres has a 'gentleman’s agreement' allowing him to leave this summer for less than his €100million (£84m) release clause.

When asked if there were any offers for €60m, Varandas added: "To this day, Sporting has not had an offer for Viktor Gyokeres, neither today nor last season. He is a fantastic professional, to this day he has had zero offers. He has a three-year contract
