Man United braced for 'serious' interest in Bruno Fernandes as fresh exit link emerges

Bruno Fernandes is now attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain as he continues to be linked with a move away from Manchester United.

The United captain has attracted interest from Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Saudi Arabia this summer amid uncertainty over his future. Fernandes is contracted at Old Trafford until 2026, and a new contract is understood not to be a priority for the club at the moment.

However, United would be keen to tie him down to fresh terms if he stays beyond the transfer window. Speaking earlier this summer about his future, the 29-year-old told DAZN Portugal: "I don't have thoughts for other things at the moment. It doesn't just depend on me. So, if you want me to be very honest, if I have to think about not continuing in the Premier League, it won't be until after the Euros.

I'm not thinking too much about the future, not least because, obviously, this season hasn't been at the level I'd hoped for, either individually or collectively, so far."

Currently on holiday after representing Portugal at the Euro 2024, Fernandes is expected to make a decision on his future, whether that will be to remain at the club or seek a new adventure. He is not short of offers, with L'Equipe reporting that PSG are the latest club to show an interest.
