Man United already have perfect Alejandro Garnacho replacement as transfer stance clear

Patience looks to have run out with Alejandro Garnacho at Manchester United with the academy graduate told that his time is up if a suitable offer arrives this summer.

The Manchester Evening News understands Garnacho's representatives have held discussions with United about his future in the wake of Wednesday night's Europa League final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur. United have been approached for comment.

While Garnacho, 20, still has plenty of room for improvement, his inconsistencies have frustrated some fans. His suitability to Ruben Amorim's system is also in question. The talented starlet plays better as a winger - a position which does not fit into his manager's 3-4-2-1 formation.

It's why a move away from M16 looks to be best for both parties. Newly crowned Serie A champions Napoli have previously been linked, while a move to Italy could be perfect, with United avoiding the potential embarrassment of seeing one of their own coming back to haunt them in the Premier League.

Discussions will naturally turn to who the Premier League giants could replace Garnacho with, during what is set to be the most important transfer window at Old Trafford for a generation. It's not a stretch to suggest, off the back of this season, that United could be nervously looking towards the bottom three next campaign if they don't get their recruitment right this summer.

A more likely replacement for Garnacho would be a new No.10, with Wolves star Matheus Cunha of interest. The Manchester Evening News understands that Cunha remains attainable - despite United's failure to qualify for the Champions League next term.

But could they already have a perfect replacement for their Argentine forward? Amad has shown much greater versatility
