Man taken to hospital after crash with city centre road shut off
A street in Manchester city centre was closed off this afternoon following a crash.
King Street was blocked both ways by emergency services between Spring Gardens and Cross Street following the crash, between a vehicle and a cyclist.
A man was taken to hospital with head and shoulder injuries, GMP said. No cordon was in place, but police cars were blocking both ends of the road. Pictures taken at the scene showed several police and ambulance vehicles stationed on the road.
