Man smashes through glass door at Michael Kors and steals designer items
A man smashed through the glass doors at a designer shop in Manchester city centre and stole high-end goods.
Police were called to the break-in on New Cathedral Street at around 2.55am yesterday morning (Monday). The Manchester Evening News understands that the Michael Kors shop - which sells designer clothing, bags and accessories - was targeted.
Pictures showed the front of the store boarded up after one of the glass panes had been smashed. Police said a man is believed to have forced his way in before making off with 'several bags of goods'.

An investigation has been launched with no arrests made so far. Anyone who has any information about the break-in is being urged to contact officers.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "We were alerted at around 2.55am on Monday (19 September) to a break-in at a store on New Cathedral Street, Manchester. Officers attended and an investigation is underway.
"It is believed a man got into the property after smashing the glass doors before making off with several bags of goods. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
"Any information should be passed to us online via our LiveChat facility on our website or by calling 101 quoting incident 302 of 19/09/2022."
The Manchester Evening News has also approached Michael Kors for a comment on the incident.
