Man found dead as emergency services scramble to block of flats
Emergency services were called to a block of flats in Salford yesterday afternoon (June 25) where a man was found dead. His next of kin has been informed.
Police and the ambulance service were called just before 5.30pm to a black on Adelphi Street, Salford. This was due to reports of concern for the welfare of a man at one of the properties.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation is ongoing into the death.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "At around 5.25pm on Saturday 25 June 2022, we received a report of concern for the welfare of an individual at a property on Adelphi Street, Salford. Emergency services attended and man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"His next of kin has been informed. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the death.
