Man died in police chase crash minutes after he is believed to have murdered his partner

A man is suspected to have murdered his partner before being killed in a subsequent police chase.

Becci Rees-Hughes, a loving mother of two boys, was found dead at a property in Samman Road, Beverley, East Yorkshire, in the early hours of Tuesday. Humberside Police are investigating the tragedy and have confirmed they are treating Becci's death as murder. An independent investigation by police watchdog IOPC has also been launched into the crash that killed Crosby and seriously injured an innocent van driver.
