Man compares Blackpool to living in China after council dishes out dog poo warning

A hotel owner handed a council warning letter amid a row over dog poo has compared the seaside town to 'the People's Republic of China'. Brendan O'Rourke runs Sunny Dee's Holiday Apartments on the Promenade.

The hotel owner set out to challenge the CPW, saying he didn't leave the poo and was given the warning incorrectly.

He added: "I had to prove this maladministration against the council, that they had issued it
