Over the next seven days or so, Liverpool and Manchester City will do battle with one another on two separate occasions.

The two best club sides on the planet right now meet at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon in a match that could prove decisive in the Premier League title race.

Liverpool and City then lock horns again next Saturday in the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley Stadium.

Klopp told Sky Sports: “Man City with the ball is a proper team,” Klopp told Sky Sports. “There are ways to defend it – you have to close down the spaces, and to do that you have to step out in specific moments.

“I’m not sure I’ve seen many games where City can pass so easily through the half spaces. They had chances,
