Man City to sanction midfielder exit amid Cesc Fabregas revolution

Serie A new boys Como are set to seal a loan deal for Manchester City midfielder Maximo Perrone as they continue an ambitious summer of recruitment.

Perrone could join the newly promoted side after their manager Cesc Fabregas spoke to City's assistant Juanma Lillo about the Argentine youngster, with the two clubs now working on the terms of a deal. The loan deal isn't expected to include an option to buy.

Como have been on the rise since a 2019 takeover by an Indonesian company and they have had a busy window since securing promotion to Serie A, including signing Raphael Varane on a free transfer. Their opening league fixture ended in a 3-0 defeat at Juventus on Monday night.

City signed the midfield in January 2023 for a fee of around £8millon. He featured 30 times for Las Palmas and helped them retain their top-flight status and he felt that season was beneficial to his development.

Sky has slashed the price of its Sky Sports, Sky Stream, Sky TV and Netflix bundle in an unbeatable new deal that saves £216 and includes 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.
