Man City 'suffer Jude Bellingham blow' as Real development emerges plus more transfer rumours

Manchester City have suffered a blow in their pursuit of Jude Bellingham with reports that the 19-year-old has agreed personal terms with Real Madrid.

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Bellingham has long been tipped to be the most in-demand player in Europe this summer, following an incredible season in the Bundesliga and with England at the World Cup. The teenager will have his pick of suitors from across Europe's top clubs, with City one of many sides said to be interested.

Pep Guardiola may need to find midfield reinforcements this summer with the future of Ilkay Gundogan uncertain. The Blues captain is in the final few months of his contract, with reports linking him to Barcelona - Bernardo Silva's future is also set to be the subject of speculation.

Bellingham has many admirers at the Etihad, but 90min report that the England international is closing in on a move to Madrid after agreeing personal terms with the Spanish side. The report adds that Bellingham has told Dortmund of his intention to leave this summer.

Elsewhere, Football Insider report that City are preparing to enter the race for another English midfielder in Declan Rice.

The 24-year-old is expected to leave West Ham this summer, admitting in recent months that he hopes to challenge for major trophies and compete in the Champions League. Arsenal have long been tipped as his most likely destination, with Manchester United also previously expressing an interest in the midfielder.

City have again been linked with a move for the Hammers man, with their chances of landing Bellingham looking slim. David Moyes' side are expected to demand around £100million for their captain.
