Man City's Premier League title chances slump after Liverpool draw

Manchester City's chances of winning the Premier League have taken a substantial drop after their exciting draw with Liverpool, according to the latest Supercomputer calculations.

In the first half, Pep Guardiola's team played better and were leading at half-time thanks to Kevin De Bruyne's quick corner which John Stones fired in from close range. After the break, Jurgen Klopp's team equalised two minutes into the second half when Ederson fouled Darwin Nunez in the box - Alexis Mac Allister scored emphatically from the penalty spot.

Klopp's team thought they should have had another penalty in stoppage time when Jeremy Doku seemed to foul Mac Allister but VAR decided that the City winger had got the ball. The result left both teams behind Arsenal in the race for top spot but Opta says the Gunners are the least likely to win the Premier League.

Arsenal's chances of winning the title are third most likely at 18.8 per cent, up from a lowly 13 per cent before the weekend. Surprisingly, Liverpool's chances of winning the league have fallen by 0.3 per cent to 35.3 per cent after the draw as they sit second in the table behind Arsenal only on goal difference.

City are still the favourites to win but their chances have taken a hit. The Blues' hopes of winning the Premier League have dropped by 5.5 per cent, as they sit in third place, just one point behind their rivals.

But, they still have a 45.9 per cent chance of lifting the trophy.

The Manchester derby is upon us again and it's a huge clash as Pep Guardiola's men look to move a step closer to another Premier League title - as well as putting one over their city rivals.
