Man City press conference LIVE Pep Guardiola gives Champions League team news vs Sevilla

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will be speaking to the media this evening ahead of the Blues' Champions League tie at Sevilla on Tuesday night.

City come into their first game in Europe's elite club competition off the back of a 1-1 draw at Aston Villa in the Premier League. Erling Haaland notched his 10th goal in six matches at Villa Park, turning home a Kevin De Bruyne cross, but it was not enough to bring home the three points.

Guardiola's side have been drawn in Group G for this season's competition as the top seed in their foursome having won England's top flight in the last campaign. As well as Sevilla, City have been drawn against FC Copenhagen and Haaland's former club Borussia Dortmund.

It is expected that Guardiola will shed some light on the current injury situation at City following Saturday's fixture. Kyle Walker was missing from a 23-man squad that trained in Spain on Monday.

Walker limped off during the stalemate at Aston Villa and is a doubt for tomorrow night. Meanwhile, Kalvin Phillips suffered an injury at Barcelona a couple of weeks back but he did feature in the training session.

I’m excited about playing in a new competition, one we have earned the right to be in for the third successive year, against an exceptional team as City are, this gives us great excitement. It’s the biggest competition in the world without a doubt.
