Man City press conference LIVE Pep Guardiola issues team news for Bayern Munich Champions League fixture

Pep Guardiola will speak to the media on Monday afternoon ahead of his side's massive Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.

It's the business end of the season which means the big games are coming thick and fast for Manchester City. Just three days on from cruising past Southampton in a dominant 4-1 win, the Blues welcome the Bundesliga champions to Manchester on Tuesday.

It will be the first leg of what is bound to be a thrilling quarter-final tie with the winners earning the right of facing either Real Madrid or Chelsea in the semi-final to book a ticket to Istanbul.

Bayern have won both of their league games since Thomas Tuchel took charge, including against title rivals Borussia Dortmund, but aren't unflappable as they suffered a shock quarter-final defeat in the DFB-Pokal to Freiburg last week.

Guardiola nearly has a full squad to choose from after Erling Haaland made a goal-scoring return to the side on Saturday but Phil Foden remains sidelined following surgery to remove his appendix.

The manager will be joined by defender Ruben Dias for the press conference.

You can follow every word the manager has to say right here.

It appears that City have a relatively clean slate health-wise going into tomorrow's match, with only Phil Foden definitely ruled out as he recovers from having his appendix removed.

Aside from team news questions, the manager may be asked about his time as Bayern manager, and also Erling Haaland's Dortmund stint when he scored regularly against the Bavarians.
