Man City parade confirmed after FA Cup Final with route details

Manchester City will show off their silverware for a fourth consecutive year with a parade in place for the evening of Sunday May 26.

Pep Guardiola's side made history on Sunday as they became the first team in the history of English football to win four consecutive league titles. They take on Erik Ten Hag's Manchester United on Saturday in the FA Cup Final hoping to write their name into the record books again as the first side to win the Double in consecutive seasons.

Whether they win the FA Cup or not on the Saturday, Guardiola and his players will be back in Manchester City centre on the Sunday night to celebrate another successful season with fans. The event will take place between 7.30pm and 9pm owing to the Greater Manchester Run taking place earlier in the day, and the route will run from the National Football Museum through Cathedral Gardens and along Deansgate, stopping at several points along the way.

Manchester City Council are advising fans to use public transport given the road closures that will be in place for the run and the parade, as well as being mindful of the large numbers of people that will be in the centre. Supporters have been asked to travel light, with no big bags and no glass bottles.
