Man City 'interested' in signing Tottenham star and more transfer rumours

Manchester City are 'interested' in re-signing Tottenham Hotspur right-back Pedro Porro ahead of the summer transfer window.

That is according to a report by Tottenham News, which claims City, who beat Huddersfield Town 5-0 in the FA Cup third round on Sunday afternoon, want to 'replace' Kyle Walker with the Spaniard. Porro was on City's books between 2019 and 2022 but failed to make a single appearance.

He netted his first goal of the campaign in spectacular fashion on Friday night, scoring the winner in Spurs' 1-0 win over Burnley in the third round of the FA Cup. Adventurous when allowed to drive forward from right-back, Porro, 24, has also chipped in with six assists this term.

Meanwhile, City will 'wait until the summer' before trying to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich. That is according to a report by the Daily Star which claims the Blues are taking a 'calculated gamble' by delaying their alleged move for the German until the summer.
