Man City hero Erling Haaland sends message to Jude Bellingham as Real Madrid ace stars vs Barcelona

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has lauded Real Madrid sensation Jude Bellingham after scoring his first El Clasico goals on Saturday.

The Norwegian is set to play a derby of his own during Sunday’s clash with Manchester United and was relaxing ahead of the trip to Old Trafford by watching Spain’s most historic match. He might have been playing alongside Bellingham this season.

City, like nearly all top clubs, were interested in the midfielder over the summer. In October, a Real Madrid board member claimed that the player’s father had been in touch with Blues representatives but ultimately turned down a transfer.

Bellingham has made a sensational start to life at Los Blancos, and continued his amazing form by finding a second-half equaliser before netting yet another stoppage-time winner to hand Madrid a 2-1 win over Barcelona.

Haaland was clearly impressed with his first long-range effort and took to Instagram to hail the 20-year-old. Writing on his Instagram story, he said: “Unreal this guy.”

Bellingham has now scored 13 goals in as many games for the La Liga leaders. Haaland himself has 14 to his name this season along with an incredible 11 assists. He will be itching to add to his tally against United.

The goal machine netted twice against Young Boys in the midweek Champions League clash to end a five-game barren run in the competition.

He leads the Premier League scorers chart with nine under his belt but has failed to score in the last two meetings with United. He netted a fantastic hat-trick in the 6-3 mauling of the Reds in the reverse fixture more than a year ago now.
