Man City have Jeremy Doku dilemma for Chelsea after Jack Grealish injury

Manchester City take on Chelsea in the Premier League looking to keep up their momentum at the top of the table.

The Blues have won 11 straight games in all competitions and are just two points off the summit in the league with a game in hand on leaders Liverpool. With Jurgen Klopp's side away at Brentford in the Saturday lunchtime kick-off, City will know before they start at Chelsea if they can go top this weekend.

Pep Guardiola goes up against Mauricio Pochettino at the ground where the Argentine inflicted a cruel Champions League exit with Tottenham in 2019, and Cole Palmer returns to the Etihad for the first time since leaving the club where he developed; here are some of the talking points ahead of the game.

Neither manager had very much to say about the other ahead of this game. Pochettino was once deeply unimpressed with Guardiola describing Spurs as the Harry Kane team, but it was the City boss who was left waiting earlier in the season at Stamford Bridge when his counterpart did not shake his hand after their 4-4 draw.

It would be a surprise if there wasn't a handshake on Saturday, but there may not be much more than that.

Pochettino spoke in the build-up about Chelsea needing to "go there and challenge them, be brave" if they are to get a result against City. They certainly did that in the reverse fixture with the pulsating 4-4 one of the games of the season.
