Man City handed major injury blow as Ruben Dias faces race to be fit for Liverpool clash
Pep Guardiola confirmed that Ruben Dias is facing four to six weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
Man City will be without their star defender for Sunday's Derby against Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium.
City currently sit top of the Premier League but their lead could be cut to just three points when their match comes around on Sunday.
Liverpool play West Ham on Saturday evening at Anfield and are looking to pile the pressure on City at the top of the Premier League.
Guardiola will have Aymeric Laporte and John Stones available in the centre half positions as well as Nathan Ake.
The loss of Dias will be a significant one for City as he has been their main centre half since joining from Benfica in the summer of 2020.
With Liverpool taking on City at the beginning of April, Dias is in a race against time to be available for that huge top of the table clash.
