Man City anger in West Ham dressing room sparked Pep Guardiola reaction

Pep Guardiola was thrilled at West Ham to walk into the dressing room and find his players fuming to be losing.

The Manchester City manager was ready to tell his players about how well they were playing despite the score when he encountered a squad that was angry to be behind in the game. A Jeremy Doku strike levelled the scores within 60 seconds of the restart and then goals from Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland sealed a fifth straight Premier League win.

City are not known for their quick starts but sit top of the table as the only side with a 100 per cent record. As well as allowing the Blues to streak ahead of their competition, Guardiola has been delighted at the high standards that his players continue to set despite everything they have already won.
