Man City and Liverpool's final four Premier League games compared

As the title race continues to go down to the wire, Manchester City know only four wins stand in the way of a fourth Premier League title in five seasons.

With Liverpool hot on their heels, any slip-up between now and the end of May will be fatal in retaining their crown, so City will have to channel the spirit of their 2018/19 run-in to fend off the challenge from Jurgen Klopp's men.

City continued their dominant goalscoring form against Leeds United on Saturday, scoring four goals without reply and whittled the goal difference down to a single strike. Further north, Liverpool also produced a dominant display against Newcastle United to keep the pressure on Pep Guardiola's side.

After some midweek Champions League action - which could see the pair book a date in Paris for the final - all attention will turn to the intense Premier League run-in, so here are the final four fixtures for each side:

Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur (Saturday 7th)

Manchester City vs Newcastle United (Sunday 8th)

After both sides attempt to make their first-leg advantages count in the UEFA Champions League semi-final, Liverpool will be looking to go top for at least 24 hours with a victory at home to Tottenham Hotspur.

The late Saturday kick-off is a mouthwatering contest, with Antonio Conte's side still battling with Arsenal to retain the elusive fourth Champions League spot.

City will have to respond a day later when an in-form Newcastle United visit the Etihad Stadium. In 2022, the Magpies are second in the Premier League form table - above City.

Aston Villa vs Liverpool (Tuesday 10th)

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Manchester City (Wednesday 11th)
