Man City and England star Jill Scott confirms retirement after Euro 2022 heroics

Manchester City and England star Jill Scott has confirmed her retirement after winning Euro 2022 with the heroic Lionesses this summer. Scott, 35, won the last of her 161 caps during the history-making Wembley showpiece win over Germany last month and bows out as one of England's all-time greats.

England manager Sarina Wiegman added: "I must congratulate Jill on a very special career. I'm so glad she was able to end on such a positive memory.
