Man City 6-0 Manchester United U21s highlights and ratings as Blues run riot after Aljofree red

Manchester City U21s welcome rivals Manchester United to the Academy Stadium for a Premier League 2 clash on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues currently sit second in the league table, while the Reds find themselves in eighth position. City have lost just twice in the Premier League 2 this term, with both defeats taking place last October. United, meanwhile, have endured somewhat of a difficult campaign and have won just six of their 20 games.

It was City who came out on top when the two sides met in the first U21 derby of the season back in November. The home side opened the scoring, but the Blues quickly took control of the match and went on to win 6-1 at Leigh Sports Village, with Carlos Borges scoring four times.

City XI: Slicker; Samuel, Charles, Katongo, Galvez, Robertson, Mebude, Breckin, Dickson, Bobb, Hamilton.

United XI: Mee; Jurado, Williams, Hardley, Aljofree, Iqbal, Forson, Gore, Mejia, Hansen-Aaroen, Emeran.

Kick-off is at 12pm - you can follow all the action from the Academy Stadium LIVE below.

Man City

Samuel - Helped drag Williams in and set City on their way. 6

Charles - Not much defending needed, but reliable in the tackles. 6

Katongo - Able to get his foot on the ball and help City's build-up.

Galvez - Lovely assist for Dickson, useful outlet on the left. 7

Breckin - One brilliant recovery challenge, tidy in possession. 6

Robertson - Solid in the base of midfield. 6

Mebude - Four fine assists, a danger throughout. 9

Bobb - Good work to get Aljofree sent off, then set up the third, and score the fourth. 8

Hamilton - Smart finish to open the scoring and justified his inclusion. 7

Dickson - Right place for two well-taken goals. Enjoyable battle
