Man charged after man left with serious head injury

A man has been charged after an alleged attack in south Manchester.

The incident happened on Dickenson Road in the Longsight area at around 11am on Monday (July 24). A man, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital from the scene.

He suffered a serious head injury, police said. Kaylem Bray, of Birch Lane, Longsight, has now been charged with assault.

The 25-year-old will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today (July 26). A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "CHARGED I Kaylem Bray (9/8/97), of Birch Lane, Longsight, has been charged with assault and will appear in court today in connection with an incident on Dickenson Road, Manchester, at around 11am on Monday 24 July 2023.

"A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with a serious head injury."
