Stones injury update
John Stones is not expected to return in time to face Sevilla as Manchester City face the prospect of being without three key players for the Super Cup final.
Stones was one of two centre-backs to miss the trip to Burnley, with Ruben Dias ruled out until next Friday at the earliest after picking up a concussion in training. In their absence, Nathan Ake and Manu Akanji started in the 3-0 win, while Aymeric Laporte and new signing Josko Gvardiol came off the bench in the second half.
Pep Guardiola believes Kevin De Bruyne will be out for a significant amount of time after suffering a repeat of the hamstring injury that ruined his Champions League final, during the first half at Burnley. And while the injury to Stones is less severe, the problem looks like it will be enough to rule him out when City fly to Athens in midweek.

Guardiola did not specify the nature of Stones' injury prior to kick-off at Turf Moor but confirmed it was a hip problem after the match.

Akanji target
Manuel Akanji said Manchester City are out to win even more this season after completing the Treble.
