Man charged after burglaries at six businesses in Rochdale

A man has been charged after burglaries at six businesses in Rochdale.

The businesses, including takeaways, an opticians and a cleaning company, were targeted between December last year and January 2021.

Electrical items were stolen, as well as cash, police said.

Mohammed Rameez, of Ann Street, Rochdale, has now been charged with six counts of burglary.

The 29-year-old has been remanded into custody.

He will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today (Wednesday).
