Man charged after 30-year-old man stabbed in chest in Radcliffe
A man has been charged with assault and possession of a bladed article after a man was stabbed in the chest in Bury.
Emergency services were scrambled to Dumers Lane in Radcliffe after reports of concerns for welfare of a man at around 9.50pm on Monday (August 21). A 30-year-old man had been stabbed in the chest and was rushed to hospital.
Jamil Satchell, 19, has now been charged with the assault and has been remanded into custody. Officers are appealing to members of the public for more information about the incident.

The victim remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Detective Constable David Potter, of GMP's Bury district, said: "This is obviously a concerning incident for residents, but I want to assure them that our investigation has been robust and comprehensive.
"I would urge anyone who might have information that could help us - no matter how small you think it is - to please get in touch. This includes anyone who may have been in the area, or has dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage during the approximate time of the incident."
Mr Satchell, of West View, Haslingden, Rossendale, is next due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 28 September 2023.
