Man, 60, charged with drug offences after car stopped on M6
A man has been charged with drug offences following a stop-and-search on the M6 motorway.
Police stopped a driver on the motorway near Holmes Chapel on Tuesday (July 4). A search was carried out by officers.
Gary Boone, of West Street, Somerset, has now been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs (cocaine), possession of class B drugs (cannabis) and possession of criminal property. The 60-year-old has been remanded into custody.
He will appear at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday, August 2, Cheshire Police said.
