Man, 27, jailed after police find his sock stuffed inside the toilet

A drug dealer has been jailed for his part in county lines supply racket. When cops raided Mathias Akinyemi's home in Ardwick, officers found cocaine worth £30,000 stuffed inside a sock hidden in the loo.

Yesterday (Thursday) the 27-year-old was jailed for three years and 11 months at Manchester Crown Court for his part in the running a national county lines drug supply operation.

The sentence comes after the defendant was convicted of possession of criminal cash, and possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs, cocaine and cannabis.

A quantity of cannabis was recovered with an estimated street worth of £25,000. Officers also found a block of cocaine stuffed inside a sock and hidden in the toilet which was estimated to have a street value of £30,000. Taking into account the drugs, cash and other assets, the total value of goods seized amounted to £100,000.
