Major road shut both ways by police after serious crash
A road in Trafford has been shut off both ways by the police this morning after a serious crash.
Paddock Lane, in the Warburton area, is currently closed at the junction with Warburton Lane and Dunham Road. The crash reportedly involves multiple vehicles.
Drivers are being urged to avoid the area and find a different route. Some bus services are also being diverted away from the scene.

In a tweet, Transport for Greater Manchester said: "ROAD CLOSED. Paddock Lane is closed at the junction of Warburton Lane and Dunham Road.
"This is due to an RTC. Please seek an alternative route. Local bus services @WarringtonBuses @littlegembus are on diversion #TfGMTraffic."
The Manchester Evening News has contacted Greater Manchester Police for information.
