Mainoo, Casemiro, Malacia - Manchester United injury news and return dates ahead of Man City clash

Manchester United can now turn their attention to one of their biggest matches of their season after getting off the mark in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Harry Maguire's 72nd minute header ensured the Reds beat FC Copenhagen 1-0 at Old Trafford. Andre Onana also played a pivotal role in the victory, producing a sensational penalty save in the dying stages to preserve the points.

What we know: After featuring in training on Monday, Mainoo played his first football since his injury in July against FC Copenhagen in the UEFA Youth League. The midfielder played 45 minutes at Leigh Sports Village and appeared to get through the encounter without a hitch, setting him up nicely for a return to the first team soon.
