Man United vs Copenhagen prediction, odds and team news for Champions League clash
It is do or die for Manchester United as they prepare for their must-win Champions League match against Copenhagen at Old Trafford.
Despite United’s struggles, they are coming into this clash on the back of two straight victories. The manner of those wins may be up for debate but having six points on the board is vital for confidence.
Ten Hag needs a similar bounce in this match because United’s Champions League hopes could be all but over if they fail to win this one. The shock home defeat to Galatasaray has blown the group wide open and United risk potentially slipping into a play-off for the Europa League or even falling out of Europe all together.
It will not be a walk in the park for the English team though, as Copenhagen boast a remarkable 14-game unbeaten run on their travels. They have scored in 16 straight away matches.

After a 1-1 draw against Galatasaray in their Champions League opener, Copenhagen narrowly lost out to Bayern 2-1 and currently sit third in Group A.
Injuries have built up at United with Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans stepping into a bare-bones defence at the weekend. Victor Lindelof slotted into an unorthodox left-back position and did his bit in a gritty win against a struggling Sheffield United.
Some good news for Ten Hag is that Casemiro and Sergio Regulion have returned to training. Neither were fit enough to make the squad on Saturday night but there is more optimism for involvement in the coming matches although the Brazilian is suspended for tonight.
