Maik Nawrocki Celtic contract length and fee revealed as Legia Warsaw star 'undergoes medical'

A report in Poland has revealed Maik Nawrocki has had his Celtic medical and is on the verge of penning a five-year deal with the Treble winners.

Legia Warsaw are in line to land £4.3million for the 22-year-old who was wanted by Galatasaray before Brendan Rodgers' side made their move. Nawrocki received a call from Josip Juranovic who talked up Glasgow and he now stands on the brink of an official announcement reports Mezycki.pl.

The Poland international earned acclaim for his displays with Legia Warsaw defender and now the German-born defender will commit his long-term future to Celtic. Nawrocki offers versatility to Rodgers with the new man having experience of operating at right-back. And that will prove vital with both Cameron Carter-Vickers and Alastair Johnston on the sidelines. Nawrocki landed in Glasgow on Friday and the finishing touches are being rubber-stamped before an official announcement.
