Maddison, Kovacic, Havertz - Manchester United's Premier League rivals' transfer business so far
Manchester United's summer transfer window is about to begin in earnest after MEN Sport confirmed Mason Mount is on the verge of being announced on a five-year contract, with the option of a further year, from Chelsea.
The England international marks Erik ten Hag's first foray into the market after a slow start. Issues regarding the takeover have stalled progress but the Reds should soon be in a position to announce their first recruit once a medical has been completed.
United's rivals have not had the same problems though and have been busy conducting their business ahead of the new season. MEN Sport has taken a look at the notable incomings and outgoings at the Reds' rivals.

The Gunners are set to sign West Ham's captain Declan Rice after a fee of £105m was agreed between the two clubs. It is understood Manchester City, who were also keen, are not willing to reach this figure.
Further reports claim Mikel Arteta's men are close to agreeing a move for Ajax's Jurrien Timber for a fee of £40.5m. The Netherlands international was a one-time United target but the transfer last summer fell through.
