M62 LIVE updates as all traffic held after crash

All traffic is being held on the M62 near Rochdale this afternoon following a collision.

Queues are building on the M62 Eastbound at J19 A6046 Middleton Road (Heywood) due to the crash at around 12:45pm on Saturday (March 29).

There is currently congestion stretching to J18 (Simister Island). It is not yet clear whether anyone was hurt in the incident.

Greater Manchester Police has been contacted for more information.
