M62 LIVE: Traffic updates as drivers face six-mile queues and hour-long delays after crash
There are long delays on the M62 this evening after a 'multi-vehicle' crash.
Two lanes of the westbound stretch of the motorway are closed between junctions 21 and 20 in Rochdale.
National Highways say the congestion stretches back more than five miles with delays of up to an hour.

In their latest update, at 6:45pm, National Highways said:
Lanes 1 and 2 (of 3) remain closed on the #M62 westbound between J21 #Newhey & J20 #A627M near #Rochdale with recovery agents now on scene
The J20 eastbound exit slip road is also closed Delays of up to 60 minutes & approx. 6 miles congestion stretching back to J22 #Denshaw
In an update in the last five minutes, National Higjhways said recovery experts are on their way to the scene with lanes one and two still closed.
There are currently six-mile long queues and delays of up to an hour they added
