M4 reopen after crash near Bridgend in early hours - RECAP
The M4 has now reopened after crash near Bridgend in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The motorway had been closed eastbound, heading towards Swansea. In a tweet at 12.24am, Traffic Wales South said the motorway had been closed eastbound, from J37 Pyle to J35 Pencoed. In an alert at 12.46am, roads and traffic monitoring service Inrix said: "M4 Eastbound closed due to accident from J37 A4229 (Pyle / Porthcawl) to J35 A473 (Pencoed). The road has been closed since around 00:30 Wednesday morning."
Traffic Wales cameras also appear to show vehicles blocking the carriagway at J33 Capel Llaniltern.
