M4 hit by 50-minute traffic delays ahead of huge Cardiff Foo Fighters show - live updates

The Foo Fighters are on their way to Cardiff as they prepare to bring their Everything or Nothing Tour to the Principality Stadium. Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, Rami Jaffee and Josh Freese will perform at the venue on Tuesday, June 25 after calling at Manchester, Glasgow and London.

The M4 is getting busy this afternoon with delays of 50 minutes on the westbound carriageway around Newport by 2.30pm.

It will be the band's first Welsh date since 2007 when they played on the bill alongside Oasis at the Noise and Confusion gig. You can find all the set times, road closures and where to park here.

Local band Himalayas will be the first support act. The band's frontman Joe Williams told WalesOnline at the time the support was announced: "We’ve always talked about the idea of supporting the Foo Fighters as if it was a pipe dream. We got a phone call after talking to our management about potentially doing the shows. And then, it all came through. We are all super chuffed and it doesn’t feel quite real, to be honest."
