M4 crash rush hour delays as fog causes disruption - live updates

The M4 is experiencing delays on a busy stretch following a collision.The incident at J47 in Swansea is causing delays on the eastbound side of the carriageway.

According to traffic monitoring system Inrix, the incident happened shortly before 8.30am at Penllergaer. The road was partially blocked and has since re-opened, however delays remain in the area.

Traffic cameras show traffic queueing off the junction, as well as delays just up ahead. The incident appears to have happened between J47 and J48. Elsewhere, fog is causing difficult driving conditions on Wednesday morning with delays also building on J32 eastbound and at the M4 Toll Plaza Westbound.
