M4 crash causes long delays

An M4 crash caused long delays heading out of Wales this morning.

The eastbound carriageway was partially blocked and there was queueing traffic due to the accident just after junction 23A for Magor Services. Traffic cameras show delays from junction 24 Coldra.

The vehicles involved in the M4 accident were moved to the hard shoulder, and all lanes re-opened at 8.20am but delays remain. Travel time in the area was around 20 minutes at 8.25am. Traffic returned to normal for the time of day just before 9am.
