M&S shoppers make demand after item returns 'by popular demand'
Marks and Spencer has brought back an 'absolutely delicious' chocolatey treat - but shoppers are not totally satisfied. The Chocolate Bouche Cake is back in M&S cafés “by popular demand” after being a huge hit with diners.
The limited-edition chocolate cake is an Easter special in the retailer’s cafés and foodies expressed their sadness when it vanished off the menu.
The hand-rolled chocolate sponge cake is filled with a rich chocolate buttercream, topped with Easter egg sprinkles and a white chocolate egg - a chocolate lovers' dream.

However, M&S has now announced the return of the Chocolate Bouche on Facebook, saying: “Pop down to your local M&S Cafe and grab a slice, you won’t want to miss out.”
While many were delighted to hear of its returns, some people shared the same complaint - it’s only available to get in the café.
M&S shoppers have made demands to get the hotly desired sweet treat on shelves so they can have it whenever they like, with Sue saying: “How can you only have this in the cafe and not for sale in the shops? I'm sure it would be a best seller.”
Rachel commented: “But they never sell in the store only coffee shop…”
Lynda said: “I would definitely buy one of these if they were on sale in the shop!!”
Claire said: “I was hoping to buy one as a birthday cake.”
Never say never, as M&S thanked Sue for her suggestion, adding: “I'm sure it would be as well - so I've passed it along to the team.”
